This portal is now setup for uploading the candidate registration data for Higher Secondary Examination March 2006. This will abolish practice of using floppies for the purpose and associated transmission errors. Once the data is successfully uploaded to the portal, an online checklist can be generated which has the flexibility to download in different formats.
This portal will be a stepping stone towards a full fledged on line examination supporting system by National Informatics Centre which can help the principals to perform examination management activities on line. Circulars, software updates etc. will also be incorporated in this portal. NIC has initiated steps to provide  uniform email Id to every principal. This will enable to send communications groupwise, districtwise, regionwise.
